June 19 - Altered Wood Photo Clock

I fell in love with these clocks at CHA-winter in Anaheim, they are wood clocks that you can decorate and add your photos too, etc. made by Kaiser.

I made 4 of these for the craft show I just did and they were a hit! The back board is 12" x 12" so a piece of patterned cardstock fits on it perfectly, and the die cut sheets look SO cool on them! It also comes with a wood easel to hold the clock up.

Altered Wood Photo Clock

Ingredients:
  • Wood Clock (Kaiser)
  • Black Paint (Making Memories)
  • Floral Rub-on (Maya Road)
  • Patterned Paper (Autumn Leaves)
  • Number Rub-ons (Basic Grey & Doodlebug)
  • Mod Podge
Instructions:

1 - Paint the background of your clock, the easel, and the wood "photo strip".
2 - When paint dries apply your patterned paper using the Mod Podge. Cut hole through paper where your clock arms will go.
3 - Apply your rub-on numbers then assemble your clock arms.
4 - Using strong adhesive (super tape) adhere the photo strip (one side of it) to the clock.
5- Slide your photos in and you're finished!

WOW, the green with the black is stunning!! I was just looking at my clock like this still in the wrapper thinking "what am I going to do with this?"
