August 5 - Why?

I have a ton to post the next few days, starting with the recipe club class project tomorrow - so beware. :)

I was in the new store and they had just gotten in some new lines from Dream Street. I fell in love with this one. The green polka dot paper is actually Christmas paper from Imaginicse but I loved how they looked together.

So without further delay...

Why?

Ingredients:

• Patterned Paper: Dream Street, Imaginisce, Jenni Bowlin
• Felt Flowers: Heidi Swapp
• Rhinestones and Pearls: Kaiser Craft
• Frame: Melissa Francis

Instructions:

1. Cut the middle and bottom strips of paper and adhere them to the page.
2- Mat your 5x7 photo with the green polka dot paper, then mat THAT to the Jenni Bowlin paper. Tear along the right side.
3- Cut a few 1" strips of your background paper and adhere them on each side of your photo or the mat (I did one of each)
4- With the scraps left of your Jenni Bowlin paper you used for a mat write your journaling words, draw a simple border around them and cut them out. Adhere each word around your mat. I also added a few at the bottom.
5- Layer the rhinestones on the center of the flowers, then pearls on the center of the rhinestones. Adhere them to the bottom corner of the mat and draw another line connecting the flowers around the rest of the green polka dot mat.
6- Adhere your white frame to your photo.
