March 9 - Enjoy The Day Card

I absolutely love the look of simple classic looking cards. On March 21st they are having a Card Camp at the Scrapbooking Cafe and I told them I would make a few cards for it. If you love making cards I would definitely recommend signing up - I've seen some of the cards you will be making and they are amazing!
On this card the scalloped edge is the part of the card that flips up.

Enjoy The Day Card

Ingredients:
  • Black Cardstock (Bazzill)
  • Patterned paper (Pink Paislee)
  • Stamps (Daisy Bucket Designs)
  • Border Punch (Fiskars)
  • Rhinestones (KaiserCraft)
  • Versamark Ink Pad
  • Silver Embossing Powder (Stampin' Up!)
  • Heat Gun
Instructions:
  1. Put a 2" strip of the patterned paper on the inside bottom of the card.
  2. Cut about a half inch off of the bottom of the front flap of the card and punch the edge with the scalloped edge punch.
  3. Ink your stamps with Versamark ink and stamp your images. Sprinkle the silver embossing powder over top, then tap off the excess powder.
