April 7 - SO Photo Card

I have a hard time designing cards if there isn't a photo involved. Maybe it is that I'm so comfortable using photos on everything that I don't know how to handle NOT using one.

Well, my solution is easy. Just use photos on my cards! This one went together so easy. Not sure if you can tell on the photo but Natalie had taken a black marker and drew up and down her arm multiple times before I caught her and took her photo in the act. As you can tell she thought it was quite humorous, so why not make a humorous card out of it? The photo came out kind of fuzzy because I didn't have a whole lot of light in the room when I took it so I just printed the photo at a smaller size and it doesn't look quite as fuzzy.

SO Photo Card

Ingredients:

• Kraft cardstock (Stampin' Up!)
• Patterned Paper (Fancy Pants Designs)
• Die Cut (Scenic Route)
• Felt Letters (American Crafts)
• Font (Creating Keepsakes, Ali) - It's FREE! Click the link to download.

Instructions:

1- Print your text on the kraft cardstock then trim your card.

2- Tear your patterned paper and adhere it to the top front of your card. Trim if needed.

3- Add your felt letters to your die cut, adhere your photo then the die cut.
